Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer Test to join their B2B Payments team. The role involves creating cloud-native SaaS services and ensuring quality at scale through automation and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities:
• Defining automation plans to support the Track BPS payment (SaaS) services.
• Lead automation efforts, and explore new test automation tools and methods.
• Ensure quality at scale by establishing processes and Client approved toolset to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
• Collaborate with product managers, the program development team(s), DevOps, and TechOps teams to ensure test readiness for new releases.
• Coding experience with automation framework, tools Cucumber, Selenium, Rest-Assure.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, and review Pull Requests using Git.
• Knowledge of internationalization and localization processes, tools, and technology.
• Ensure test plan adherence to Client approved best practices and governing models, including security, operations, and Enterprise Architecture requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Good programming/java/springboot
• Good automation test engineering knowledge/experience in that space (REST-assured/RestSharp)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Coding experience with automation framework, tools Cucumber, Selenium, Rest-Assure
• Knowledge of internationalization and localization processes, tools, and technology
• Experience with web technologies, including HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular
• Experience testing applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Experience testing apps using storage technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
• Experience with automated testing and tools, ideally ones such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Postman, and REST-assured/RestSharp
• Exposure to successfully releasing software in a continuous delivery model using Git
• Enjoy working in an Agile team focused on continuous improvement
• Strong desire to learn best practices, modern software testing techniques, and collaborate within a team
• Passionate about the art of delivering the highest quality software to customers and stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
