Duration: 11 Months Contract
Job Summary
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Associate to support procurement and sourcing operations for a leading elevator manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, procurement operations, and manufacturing supply chain management.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Strategic Sourcing
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations is required
- Engineering degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers for mechanical, electrical, electronics, and structural components.
- Manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and convert them into Purchase Orders (POs) within ERP systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability to support manufacturing and new product development.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and customs compliance.
- Resolve supplier delivery delays, shortages, and quality issues.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through supplier consolidation, localization, and value engineering.
- Partner with engineering teams for alternate material and supplier development.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating pricing and commercial terms.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Quality teams to support manufacturing operations.
- Support supplier audits, quality improvements, and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
