Familiarity with translation management systems (TMS), CAT tools, and quality assurance software is typically required. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for coordinating teams and managing client expectations. These competencies ensure efficient project delivery, high-quality localized content, and successful cross-cultural communication.

What are Localization Project Managers?

Localization Project Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the adaptation of products, content, or services to meet the language and cultural requirements of different markets. They coordinate teams of translators, editors, and technical specialists to ensure that localization projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. Job description

Let's introduce ourselves

Digital Product Manager

Richmond Hill, ON (on-site - 5 days a week)

You will own the product strategy, roadmap, and performance of Volvo Car Canada's national digital platforms (volvocars.ca), ensuring a seamless and premium end-to-end customer journey - from discovery through to lead generation and conversion. You will operate at the intersection of digital experience, commercial performance, and technology, shaping how Canadian customers engage with Volvo online. This role requires strong collaboration across global and local stakeholders, with accountability for translating market needs into impactful product enhancements aligned with Volvo's broader digital ecosystem.

What you'll do
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Volvo Car Canada's national website (volvocars.ca), delivering a premium bilingual (EN/FR) experience and driving customer satisfaction and lead generation.
  • Manage and maintain Volvo Cars technology systems that support the brand website content updates (ContentStack and other proprietary systems).
  • Develop and manage the end-to-end all model Volvo Cars product and features, from strategic planning (functionality, testing, requirements etc.) to deployment, and through iterative enhancements.
  • Own and continuously optimize core product KPIs, including traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion performance.
  • Drive the localization strategy for Volvo Cars digital properties, partnering with US and global counterparts to deliver innovative and relevant experiences for Canadian customers.
  • Partner cross-functionally across all business units to ensure that the website reflects the key priorities for the monthly sales cycles, quarterly initiatives and overall annual targets.
  • Collaborate with the Web & Commerce Product Manager on retailer website projects to drive seamless experience between Volvo Car Canada, ecommerce, and Volvo retailer websites.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and across all Volvo Cars Canada departments to debug and resolve site errors and issues in a timely manner.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to deliver annual digital vehicle launches and model year changeovers.
  • Collaborate with the BI & Analytics lead to set, monitor, and analyze performance to measure product success (including site tagging) and to inform ongoing prioritization based on impact.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage personalization and emerging technologies (including AI)
  • Continuously benchmark against competitors and drive innovation in the premium digital experience.
What you'll bring
  • 5-8 years of experience in digital product management, website platforms, or website development
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, APIs, data flows, and system integrations, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes. (ContentStack, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Power BI, and Regex)
  • Confidence in both working independently and collaborating regularly; as well as presenting to broader stakeholders at key milestones
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, analytics, business)
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • French bilingual written and verbal is strongly preferred

Salary Range:
 $110,000 to $120,000 per year
Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, location and company guidelines
