Job description

The Project Manager GSI will manage the deployment of GSI full including Production Planning module and other related applications. Bangalow manufacturing as well as establishing a full production and supply operations in Kingston will require an upgrade from the current GSI Light module to GSI full. The deployment will be for 12 months max including post implementation support.


Pay Rate: 130K
Location: Toronto
Duration: 12-month Contract

Your future role

The SAP/GSI Project Manager is in charge to perform a successful deployment of the SAP/GSI ERP for the site by:

  • Animating the site Keys Users under his responsibility to follow the Roll-out plan and reach the milestones in quality and time, and alert if some requirements are not met
  • Collecting the local Site Business needs within the limit of the Core Model, and being the local contact point for IS&T organization (IS&T PM & Providers PM, etc.)
  • Suggesting the local Business changes if needed, to be compliant with GSI Core Model needs
  • Ensure business adoption of GSI core-model by Key-users/End-users within the site
  • Animate, inform the Site Management Committee during roll-out phases

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Manage all phases of SAP/GSI Roll-Out (from Pre-Study & kick-off to the end of post Go-live), with IS&T project team, its provider, and RBPE support
  • Build and Manage Site Deployment Team (local KU)
  • Ensure implementation of Change Management action (training, organization update, new ways of workings,โ€ฆ) with RBPE/ Local Change Manager support
  • Coordinate data cleansing activities and insure data reliability
  • Manage project issues log & escalation process at site / Region Level
  • Perform change management impact assessment with the key stakeholders to design the change management plan
  • Monitor and update CM plan with regular reporting to Project sponsorship/ Stakeholders and Global CM teams
  • Handle risk related to Change Mngt and work as advisor for site management on actions related to organizational impacts
  • Limit the localization impacts with full respect of the GSI core processes
  • Validate as Business representative the site GSI landscape to be deployed
  • Report implementation progress to site / Region



Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • A degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a strong knowledge and experience in Sites operations activity
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in ERP and fundamental ERP understanding of Industrial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics (including Warehouse Management), Material Management & Finance
  • Project management skills with previous ERP deployment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Fluent in English
