Job description

Job Summary:
The Accounting Office Manager directs the centralized accounting office and financial operations for our 6 premier luxury and ultra-luxury dealerships in Austin, TX. This high-profile role manages the consolidated general ledger, coordinates office workflows, and ensures rigorous accounting controls across 9 iconic brands: Porsche, Infiniti, Audi, Lotus, Maserati, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, and Alfa Romeo. The ideal candidate possesses advanced mastery of Reynolds & Reynolds (ERA-IGNITE) and a proven background tracking high-dollar vehicle flooring, exotic trade-ins, and complex manufacturer financial statements.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Multi-Location Financial Oversight: Centralize, monitor, and balance the day-to-day accounting transactions across all 6 dealership footprints using Reynolds & Reynolds.
  • Manufacturer Financial Statements: Personally prepare and transmit strict, accurate month-end financial statements adhering to individual OEM templates for high-line brands (e.g., Porsche, Audi) and ultra-luxury lines (e.g., Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin).
  • High-Value Floor Plan Auditing: Manage and reconcile multimillion-dollar floor plan lines of credit. Oversee daily bank deposits, immediate vehicle payoffs, and physical inventory audits with floor plan lenders.
  • Exotic Vehicle Deal Processing: Supervise specialized billing, contract funding, and multi-jurisdictional DMV title and registration processing for ultra-luxury vehicle sales, complex out-of-state trade-ins, and luxury leases.
  • Team Leadership & Centralization: Lead, train, and structurally optimize a centralized team of remote and localized office staff (accounts payable/receivable, billing, and specialized title clerks).
  • Dealer Reserve & Commission Tracking: Maintain exact ledgers for localized financing reserves, specialized aftermarket products, and high-tier sales commission structures.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience is strictly required. Proven experience working in a multi-rooftop or centralized group office setting is preferred.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced, fluent knowledge of the Reynolds & Reynolds DMS (ERA-IGNITE / Ignite modules) is an absolute prerequisite. High-level execution in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • Brand Familiarity: Direct experience navigating manufacturer billing, incentive structures, and part-return frameworks for luxury European or exotic brands is highly desirable.
  • Localization: Based in or willing to commute to the Austin, TX area.
  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is highly preferred, but equivalent automotive financial management experience will be heavily considered.
