Role Summary
Lead global procurement team to manage sourcing activity which includes: develop category strategy, source the best suppliers from global market and strong management skills with key suppliers, align strategy with key stakeholders and execute the strategy with positive results driving; develop efficient procurement process, and work closely with operation to ensure on time delivery and high quality to support production; deeply engage on business and work closely with New Product Development, Project Management to understand future demand/request, and ensure we have strong supply chain to support business; can lead different culture direct reports to support global business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop category strategy, execute category strategy to optimize supplier base; drive out material saving/avoidance through negotiation, localization, 2nd source, VA/VE projects, develop competitive and reliable suppliers based on business needs.
Manage supplier performance, drive suppliers to continue improve their cost, lead-time, MOQ, and quality; develop dual source for key components, strengthen partnership with key suppliers.
Lead global procurement team, to ensure team are working on the right direction, in efficient process; support new projects, select the right suppliers, manage project timeline to be on schedule, and ensure project complete on cost, on time; sign contract with key suppliers to protect our business
Support plant to expedite materials to fulfill customer orders and grow revenue
Optimize team organization structure, build high-efficiency and professional procurement team, be fully compliant
Cross BU category synergy to maximize savings for T&L, and continue improve our supplier base by global benchmarking
Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering. Master's degree preferred
  • Procurement experience in automotive industry
  • Global supplier sourcing, negotiation, contract and management skill
  • Strong category management like PCBA
  • Undergraduate degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain major preferred.
  • Time management and sense of urgency.
  • Customer focus, strong communication skill

  • Direct report management skills

Salary Range:
