Sewing Machine Operator (Full-Time)

Requirements
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (non-THC)
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, patterns, drawings, and product specifications
  • Ability to perform basic sewing tasks, accurately measure materials, and work with a variety of fabrics and adhesives
  • Strong attention to detail, quality standards, and accuracy
  • Previous sewing, manufacturing, upholstery, textile, or production experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of industrial single-needle or walking foot sewing machines preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Job Duties
  • Obtain required pre-cut parts and materials for production
  • Assemble materials and components according to patterns and product specifications
  • Operate a walking foot sewing machine to complete finished products
  • Follow guidelines for seam measurements, stitching requirements, and thread specifications
  • Ensure proper matching and placement of materials and notions
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy
  • Follow established production processes and quality standards
  • Complete assigned work orders and production tasks on schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Sit for extended periods while performing detailed sewing work
  • Frequently use hands and arms to handle materials, equipment, and finished products
  • Perform close visual inspection of materials, stitching, and finished products
Schedule
  • Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
  • Work schedule to be determined at time of hire
  • Flexible scheduling available based on training availability and business needs
Pay Rate
  • $17.00 per hour
  • Eligible for company benefits upon successful completion of the probationary period and permanent hire. Benefits details will be provided at that time
