WCMY/WRKX seek full-time Account Executives to represent the radio stations. This is your opportunity to help LaSalle County local businesses be successful in reaching area communities and helping the community support local business. We are true believers of the NRG way of uniquely connecting our listeners through our stations and our clients to create strong community involvement.
NRG Media Ottawa is the home of Great Local Radio including WCMY, Mornings with Jay LeSeure, local news and sports, and the ever-popular JACK-FM! And we host Freezin' for a Reezin, an all-day donation drive for the Ottawa Community Food Basket serving the LaSalle County area.
If you have a passion for helping others, are self-directed, trustworthy, organized and have good time management we'd like to talk to you. Prior sales or customer service skills are appreciated by not mandatory for the right candidate. You will work with business owners to develop and implement creative marketing strategies and advertising solutions. You'll be expected to proactively develop a new client base, maintain and grow existing accounts, represent the stations in a professional and ethical manner, communicate account information and production needs to internal staff, and travel to client locations in your own transportation.
NRG Media, LLC is a well-respected broadcasting company with radio stations throughout IL, IA, NE, and WI; owned and operated by long time media professionals who offer support and opportunity to their employees.
Compensation includes a competitive base guarantee starting at $36,000 with a commission structure and additional reimbursement allotments.
