Project Overview:
Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and leading the implementation of the BIM strategy to support the delivery of the project. #LI-SM2
Major Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the BIM execution strategy
  • Work with project kickoff teams to establish mobilization plan per BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and deliver relevant kick off meetings and workshops
  • Coordinate with the PIM Manager, IS&T manager and DCC manager
  • Lead development of BIM project seed files, family libraries, etc.
  • Conduct workshops with client, partners, and stakeholders to agree the BIM requirements across the project.
  • Manage relationships with third party BIM developers/implementors
  • Support proposal and BD efforts in M&T business lines
  • Participate in BIM/automation industry and trade organizations
  • Facilitate integration of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) into BIM processes
  • Conduct regular assessments to review the BEP and other execution plans, and to seek opportunities for improvement
  • Capture lessons learned and improved workflows

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Significant experience working across functions (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, IS&T) for BIM and project execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain new work processes and technologies to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery information environment, applying industry best practices
  • Previous experience in developing project standards, class libraries, and master data management
  • Experience in developing data management execution strategies and configuration control
  • Experience in working closely with senior client staff and JV partners or subcontractors in designing and implementing digital solutions
