Position Purpose:

Supports the continuum of care by facilitating entry and transfer of patients in Genesis Medical Center; support data entry for encounter updates related to patient status and bed management, assist patient flow coordinator; coordinate insurance eligibility and pre-certification; assist with pre-registration of ancillary/inpatient stays; assist in quality and service data management; contact and facilitate physician to physician(s) conversations; responsible for coordination and communication of physician on-call schedule; supports implementation of departmental and organizational goals.

Hours:

36 hours/week

This position is varied hours (day/evening split), 1200-2000 or 1300-2100 with an every other weekend rotation.
