Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. – JUDGMENT ENTRY SPECIALIST

JOB SUMMARY as a Judgment Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Data Entry of Judgments into our database system.
  • Review of system data to ensure proper information prior to entry.
  • Review of system data after entry to ensure information accurately updated during entry.
  • Review of documents submitted to the court and financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Correspondence with Courts via phone to ensure the judgments are accurate and entered timely.
  • E-filing/Mailing Copy Requests of orders and/or Judgments.
  • Uploading Judgment Copies to clients via client portal, e-mail, etc.
  • Perform general clerical duties including data entry, scanning, photocopying, collating, and faxing.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Responsible individual who can work both independently and in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Legal field certificate/2-yr degree (experience may be substituted for education)
  • Background in Retail Claims and Creditors’ Rights Laws preferred
  • Competency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machine, copiers, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to Detail
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability
