Job description

Job Title: Data Entry Operator
Location: Remote
Hours: 20-40/hrs per week, M-F normal business hours
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00/hr
Type: 5-month contract
Overview
The LMS Data Entry Specialist supports the implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS) through data entry, record migration, and administrative support activities. This role is responsible for entering, validating, and organizing training records while ensuring data accuracy throughout the implementation process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, advanced Excel skills, and eager to learn new technology systems.
Responsibilities
  • Perform all data entry and migration activities associated with LMS implementation
  • Assist with LMS configuration, including curricula, training assignments, organizational structures, and user profiles
  • Conduct data cleanup, validation, and imports
  • Upload training materials and training assignments into the LMS
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Support other LMS implementation and training administration activities as assigned
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and data manipulation
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Experience working with software systems, databases, or large data sets
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
  • Experience with data entry, records management, or administrative support
  • Experience working with training records or databases
  • Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
