Job Title: Local CDL-A Truck Driver
Location: Lockbourne / Columbus, OH
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: Thursday – Monday
Start Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Home Time: Home Daily

Position Overview

We are currently hiring Class A CDL Local Truck Drivers for an intermodal driving opportunity based in the Columbus, OH area. Drivers will operate within a 250-mile radius and primarily handle freight moving in and out of local rail yards. This position offers consistent miles, daily home time, and mostly no-touch freight, making it a great opportunity for drivers seeking stability and predictable schedules.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class A CDL truck within a 250-mile radius of Columbus, OH
  • Transport freight between rail yards and customer locations
  • Average 3–4 loads per day
  • Maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations
  • Perform drop-and-hook and occasional live load/unload operations
  • Work closely with dispatch and yard teams to maintain efficient operations

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience
  • Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days (cost reimbursed)
  • Tanker endorsement required within 60 days (cost reimbursed)
  • Ability to operate safely and efficiently in a local intermodal environment
