Job description

Expanding practice seeks a Family Medicine Physician to work in San Diego, Alpine, or San Ysidro, California!

Join a mission-driven, Federally Qualified Health Center serving over 108,000 patients across a vast network of program sites, with a strong focus on chronic disease management and care coordination.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay range: $134.93–$183.43/hour, based on experience and qualifications


Job/Practice Description: Internal Medicine / Family Medicine

  • Provides acute, chronic, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative care
  • Focus areas include family practice, internal medicine, and geriatrics, with experience in transitions of care, chronic disease, and advanced goals-of-care discussions
  • Inpatient skilled nursing coverage and call coverage as assigned by the Medical Director
  • Case management of clinic patients admitted to hospitals, with referrals to medical specialties
  • Consultative services for complex diagnostic or therapeutic problems as requested
  • Interdisciplinary team care planning
  • Preferred skills: skin biopsy, excision of skin lesions, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy
  • Must obtain staff privileges at local hospitals and nursing homes


Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty
  • Current CA MD/DO and DEA license
  • CPR certification
  • Completion of clinical training
