We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Manager to lead our irrigation teams and ensure that all irrigation systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards.

Job Summary:
The Irrigation Manager will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential irrigation systems, including 2-wire systems. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage multiple crews, ensuring timely project completion and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

#183; Lead and manage irrigation crews for commercial and residential projects.

#183; Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems, with expertise in 2-wire systems.

#183; Plan and schedule daily tasks, managing crew members to ensure efficient project execution.

#183; Conduct site assessments to determine irrigation needs, design solutions, and make necessary adjustments.

#183; Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and local codes.

#183; Train and mentor team members on irrigation techniques, tools, and best practices.

#183; Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.

#183; Manage inventory of materials and equipment needed for irrigation projects.

#183; Monitor the performance and efficiency of installed systems, ensuring optimal water usage and cost-effectiveness.

#183; Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

#183; Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential irrigation systems.

#183; Proven experience with 2-wire irrigation systems.

#183; Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and guide crews.

#183; In-depth knowledge of irrigation design, installation, and maintenance practices.

#183; Familiarity with irrigation controllers, valves, sensors, and other system components.

#183; Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

#183; Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

#183; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

#183; Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

#183; Certification in irrigation or related fields (CIC, CID, CLIA, etc.). is a plus

Preferred Skills:

#183; Experience with smart irrigation systems and water conservation techniques.

#183; Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Working Conditions

#183; Employee will work out of the main office, vehicle office or out of a field office at the construction site.

#183; Employee may have to travel when the construction site is in another area or when they are responsible for activities at two or more sites.

#183; Employee may also expect to work in stressful situations.

#183; Management of construction projects outside of daily driving distance may entail temporary residence in another area.

#183; Employee may need to be “on call,” 24 hours a day, to deal with bad weather or emergencies at the site.

#183; Employee may be subject to lifting and exposure to extreme weather, fumes and chemicals.

Work and Physical Requirements

#183; May be exposed to hazardous chemicals.

#183; Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques.

#183; Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling.

#183; Work is performed in both an internal and external environment with occasional exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures.
