Coordinate Every Plate. Deliver Every Order.

At PJ Lobster House, our Kitchen Expeditor (Kitchen Coordinator) is the communication hub of our kitchen. This position is responsible for coordinating every station to ensure complete tables are served together, maintaining food quality and accuracy, organizing takeout and catering orders, and supporting both the kitchen and front-of-house team throughout every shift.

As the Kitchen Coordinator, you'll call the line during service, communicate with cooks, managers, and servers, verify every plate for quality and accuracy, organize takeout and catering orders, and help ensure every guest receives a complete and timely dining experience.

  • Communicate continuously with cooks, servers, bartenders, Hospitality Coordinators, and managers to maintain a smooth flow of service.
  • Restock the takeout station throughout the shift.
  • Refill and distribute cleaning chemicals to front-of-house service stations as needed.
  • Roll silverware and maintain adequate restaurant inventory.
  • Portion, rotate, label, and stock sauces.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked expo station.
  • Assist with prep, cleaning, stocking, and supporting other kitchen stations whenever needed.
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work as assigned.
