Job description

Lobel Financial is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Area Sales Manager to help grow our dealer network and strengthen our presence in the automotive finance market. As a full-spectrum auto finance company, Lobel Financial partners with franchised and independent dealerships to provide fast, flexible financing solutions and responsive service that support dealer success.
Position Summary
In this field-based sales role, the Area Sales Manager will develop and grow dealer relationships within an assigned territory to increase application volume, contract production, and overall market penetration. This role serves as a consultative business partner to dealerships by promoting Lobel Financial's programs, identifying growth opportunities, supporting dealer performance, and delivering exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-driven professional with strong automotive finance knowledge and a passion for building long-term partnerships.
What You'll Do
  • Grow and manage a designated territory by developing strong dealer relationships.
  • Generate new business by prospecting, onboarding and activating new dealer partners.
  • Increase application and contract volume by promoting Lobel Financial's financing programs.
  • Conduct regular in-person dealer visits to strengthen partnerships, provide training, and business development.
  • Serve as a rusted advisor, helping dealers maximize opportunities and improve performance.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and resolve dealer needs.
  • Monitor territory performance, identify growth opportunities and execute strategic sales plans
  • Stay current on market trend and competitive activity.

What You'll bring:
  • Outside sales or territory management preferably in automotive finance or indirect lending.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership operations and dealer relationship management.
  • Proven success growing sales and exceeding performance goals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in subprime auto finance.
  • Knowledge of F&I (Finance & Insurance) and dealership sales processes.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus, depending on territory needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required based on relevant experience.
