1st shift Concierge/ Front Desk persons needed

Front Desk personnel are an upfront and hands-on representative of Mansions Senior Living Communities. They are generally the first point of contact for customers & prospective residents and have extensive daily interaction with customers and the public on the company’s behalf. This position requires personnel to be professional, courteous, outgoing, compassionate, and maintain safety procedures at all times.

Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive Criminal Background Screening and pre-employment Drug Test
  • Must provide valid employment documents
  • Must have reliable transportation to report to work on time and maintain good attendance
  • Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend, or kneel throughout shift. Must be able to lift 25-50lbs.
  • Customer service: includes professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with residents, visitors, contractors, coworkers and supervisors
  • Maintain a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction with attention to details
  • Self-motivated, able to work with/without supervision
  • Communicate politely & professionally with customers, co-workers & supervisors
  • Potential for “on-call” for fill-in shifts; could require evenings, overnights or weekends for emergencies
  • Willing to travel to other Mansions Senior Living Communities for emergencies or fill-in shifts
  • Experience driving passenger commercial vehicles is preferred. CDL is not required.
  • Must possess current Driver’s License, acceptable driving record & current personal auto insurance
  • Sales or Customer Service experience in Apartments Leasing, Hotel/Hospitality or Senior Living Community. Additional certifications or training in Senior Living are a plus
  • Maintain an accurate and a thorough knowledge of all the aspects of the property, specifically in areas such as community policies, safety and emergency procedures, etc.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: (including but not limited to)

  • Must be able to complete assigned tasks in allowed days/time
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Answer phones, greet customers and assist with their needs, filing, make copies, etc.
    1. Goal to answer phone by 3rd ring, “Good morning (afternoon, evening) Mansions at (property name), this is (your first name), how may I assist you?”
    2. Greet EVERYONE with kind words, a smile, and eye contact, “Welcome to the Mansions” or “Welcome back home”
  • Dress code – Business casual, name badge required, jeans (clean, no holes or frays, not too tight or loose), tennis shoes or other close toed shoes
  • Must be able to adequately use computers for email communications, writing letters, input prospect & resident data, input & update service requests, document incidents, etc.
  • Keep current knowledge of Community pricing, availability, specials, advertisements & that of competitors.
  • Support overall marketing techniques and offer suggestions that can help in the promotion, advertising, and marketing of communities
  • Schedule & give tours with prospects for the intent of leasing at the community. Maintain follow-up.
  • Greet visitors and determine if our community meets the needs of the prospective client
  • Ability to convert phone calls with inquiring prospects into on-site tours & effectively close the sale, maintaining an acceptable closing ratio
  • Keep track of all leasing paperwork including the application, leasing agreements, employment and criminal background reports and lease move-in packets
  • Make sure leasing brochures & welcome packets are stocked and ready for the next shift
  • Schedule transportation for residents on corresponding days
  • Assist with resident activities as needed
  • Pick up resident trash nightly, post notices/flyers, assist with dining linens
  • Light cleaning of office, breakroom, lobby, and other common areas as needed
  • Maintain a clean & orderly work space
  • Orders supplies as needed, verifies items needed on the 1st & 15th of each month.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

SCHEDULE

  • Full-time

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

  • Hourly, non-exempt from overtime
