Our client, a growing startup, is seeking an Operations Associate (Personal Loans) to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. They boast a great office culture, room for growth, and cross-training opportunities are available.

Position Overview
The Operations Associate (Personal Loans) supports the end-to-end processing of personal loan applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of customer requests. This role collaborates with underwriting, customer service, risk, and technology teams to deliver a seamless lending experience. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Of The Operations Associate (Personal Loans)
  • Process and review personal loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.
  • Perform data entry, validation, and updates in loan origination and servicing systems.
  • Conduct preliminary checks (KYC, income verification, credit bureau checks) in line with policy.
  • Coordinate with underwriting and credit teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
  • Monitor application queues and turnaround times to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support loan disbursement activities, including final verification and system setup.
  • Handle post-disbursement operational tasks (repayment schedule setup, amendments, closures).
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, customer requests, and escalations promptly.
