Job Title: Senior Training Lead

Location: Dayton, OH, or Westminster, CO

Are you ready to revolutionize how the heavy machinery industry learns by designing cutting-edge digital and field training ecosystems? Trimble is looking for a dynamic training leader to architect formal certification frameworks, mobilize subject matter experts, and deliver high impact instruction that connects physical worksites with digital innovation.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating next-generation learning ecosystems, directly influencing how global field operators master precision construction technology and shaping the future of digital learning pathways across the civil construction industry.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale Trimble's formal technical certification frameworks and structured staff development pathways in close collaboration with fellow training leaders.

  • Lead the design and development of a robust digital course library using AI and advanced eLearning tools to translate complex on-machine concepts into interactive experiences.

  • Facilitate high-impact, master-level training sessions both virtually and live in the field for intermediate to veteran technical audiences.

  • Partner with and mobilize engineering and field subject matter experts, coaching them to serve as active guest instructors and high-performing field trainers.

  • Manage and maintain physical training hardware, including site infrastructure, field assets, and heavy machinery.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or field application engineering, with a distinct emphasis on heavy machinery technology or civil construction solutions.

  • Deep technical mastery of machine control platforms, office software, sensor calibrations, hydraulic integrations, and GNSS/RTK site infrastructure.

  • Proven expertise diagnosing complex hardware, software, and connectivity failures on active construction machinery in rugged environments.

  • Exceptional presentation skills with a proven ability to translate highly complex engineering concepts for large virtual audiences and veteran field operators.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Construction Management, Instructional Design, or equivalent, relevant hands-on field experience.

Bonus Points For

  • Direct experience within a Trimble, Topcon, Leica, or major heavy equipment dealership ecosystem.

  • Hands-on experience navigating, hosting content, and tracking courses within Learning Management Systems, specifically Learn.trimble.com.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
