- Training Analysis and Data Integration
- Work with instructional designers and analysts to ensure analysis data (training requirements, task analyses, learner profiles, evaluation data) is captured, structured, and traceable to training artifacts.
- Support implementation of Kirkpatrick's 4 levels of evaluation (reaction, learning, behavior, results) by ensuring LMS/LCMS data structures and content configuration support formative, summative, and operational evaluation.
- Help define how evaluation data and usage metrics are stored, tagged, and accessed for continuous improvement of the training system.
- Content Packaging and Deployment
- Upload, register, and maintain learning objects within the LMS/LCMS, including catalog metadata, course structures, and version history.
- Configure, package, and prepare e-learning modules (e.g., SCORM/xAPI-compliant SCOs) for deployment to the LMS/LCMS environments.
- Validate that content functions as designed in the LMS/LCMS environment, including launch, navigation, tracking, and completion reporting.
- Coordinate with IT/LMS administrators to resolve technical issues related to training content configuration and delivery.
- Library and Asset Management
- Maintain a centralized library/repository of training artifacts, ensuring assets are logically organized and easily discoverable.
- Manage media assets (graphics, audio, video) to ensure proper file formats, compression, and linkage to associated lessons and modules.
- Support content reuse by maintaining modular, well-documented learning objects and templates.
- Collaboration and Standards
- Partner with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project managers to ensure content structure and configuration align with instructional goals and project requirements.
- Support content reuse by maintaining modular, well-documented learning objects, templates, and patterns.
- Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, and templates for lesson plans, storyboards, SCOs, and media assets.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on configuration practices, repository use, and content packaging workflows.
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct configuration and content integrity checks to ensure all required assets are present, correctly linked, and up to date.
- Perform functional testing of training products in target environments and document defects, issues, and resolutions.
