**Job Summary:**
We are looking for an X-Ray Tech to join our team at CareSpot, a healthcare organization dedicated to improving the patient experience in urgent care. As an X-Ray Tech, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and performing radiologic procedures while also assisting with various medical support tasks as needed by our clinicians.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- License for Radiologic Technologists (RT) or Basic Machine Operator (BMO) required
- Prior recent experience in a healthcare setting preferred, such as an emergency department, urgent care, or ambulatory clinic
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
-Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) - https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and perform x-rays within the scope of practice
- Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards
- Maintain accurate records of exams performed, including documenting LMP and shielding
- Verify condition of network and x-ray server
- Clean cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure
- Assist with front and back-office duties, including collecting payments for services rendered
