Job description

PWS Title: Property / Logistics Coordinator Location: Hampton Roads, VA Clearance Type: Top Secret ***Contingent upon award*** Responsibilities include: * Maintain accurate Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) records for over 6,000 assets, including serial numbers, location, condition, and custodian assignments. Ensure all new Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) is tagged, documented, and entered within two business days of receipt. * Track assets throughout their lifecycle-from receipt and deployment through relocation, maintenance, and final disposition.

Initiate and document asset transfers, excess reports, repairs, retirements, and turn-ins in compliance with DoD 5000.64 and DISA policies. * Conduct regular physical inventories to verify asset presence, condition, and alignment with DPAS records. Reconcile discrepancies, initiate Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) when necessary, and support audit readiness through complete documentation.

* Coordinate the secure movement of IT equipment between Hampton Roads and the NCR. Use contractor-furnished vehicles operated by cleared drivers to ensure safe, documented transport of assets including AV gear, VTC systems, and classified systems. * Identify excess equipment for Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) processing.

Prepare Electronic Turn-In Documents (ETIDs), DD Form 1348-1A, condition codes, and packing documentation. Coordinate pickup and track final status through closeout reports. * Manage local storage and staging areas for incoming and outgoing assets.

Ensure proper segregation of classified and unclassified equipment, maintain bench stock inventory levels, and process inbound returns with full documentation. * Maintain accurate chain-of-custody records for all moved assets. Scan signed Form 7s and other documentation into digital archives.

Ensure records are readily available for inspections, FLIPL support, or internal reviews. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * 3-5 years of experience in DoD property accountability, logistics, or warehouse operations. * Familiar with DPAS data entry, equipment lifecycle management, and Defense Logistics Manual requirements.

* Proven ability to handle sensitive equipment, manage inventory of 6,000+ items, and prepare for DRMO. * Experience coordinating NCR transport, generating shipping manifests, and managing Form 7 documentation. * Understanding of DoD turn-in and disposal procedures, and audit readiness best practices.
