Salary: $115,000 - $160,000

We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead projects from mobilization through closeout. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely and on schedule, and for maintaining the highest standards of quality and contract compliance.

The Quality Control Manager will provide management and oversight for the overall QC processes and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, field staff, and subcontractors, ensuring strong coordination and clear communication across all phases of the project.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage projectspecific Quality Control Plans
  • Oversee the Three Phases of Control: preparatory, initial, and followup inspections
  • Coordinate inspections, testing agencies, special inspectors, and jurisdictional authorities
  • Identify quality issues early and drive corrective action
  • Maintain deficiency logs, inspection records, testing reports, and QC documentation
  • Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and revisions for quality impacts
  • Support punch list development, closeout documentation, and final inspections
  • Communicate quality risks and solutions to project leadership
  • Promote accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across QC activities

Qualifications:

  • 35 years of construction QC, inspection, or field supervision experience
  • Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, codes, testing, and closeout
  • Experience coordinating inspectors, testing agencies, and trade partners
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelors degree in CM, engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience with DSA, HCAI, or public agency requirements (preferred)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problemsolving skills
