Job description

Description:

AMVC is looking for a Livestock Truck Driver for the Audubon, IA area. This position will be responsible for safely transporting animals from farm to farm or from farm to market. All routes will be local, and no overnights are required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently deliver pigs to their destinations
  • Assist in loading and unloading of the livestock trailer
  • Wash and help maintain livestock trailer
  • Comply with all company biosecurity and animal welfare practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record
  • Flexible schedule
  • Previous livestock hauling experience preferred

License/Certification:

  • Class A CDL required
