Job description

Central Plains Milling (CPM), an LLC of Frontier Cooperative Co., has a full-time position available for a Commercial Class A driver. This Class A driving position is a great opportunity in the Ag industry that offers local & home-daily driving. A Feed Truck Driver position is an integral part of our premier Livestock Feed Manufacturing Company (CPM) that serves Beef Producers, Cow-Calf Producers, Nebraska Pork Producers, Rural Farms, Acreage Owners & Livestock Producers throughout Nebraska.
Duties for this Feed Truck Driver position include, but are not limited to:
  • Feed Truck Drivers are responsible for loading & delivering specialized custom bulk livestock feed to our customers. Feed Truck Drivers plan the logistics of their deliveries & locations to ensure delivery times are met while working at a steady pace within a designated territory.
  • This position cross-trains to assist in the Feed Mill Operations department.
  • Feed Truck drivers must be confident in their ability to drive commercial vehicles on gravel roads & maneuver on customer's properties, pens, &/or corrals. Must feel comfortable working around livestock & the farming community. Although not required, a background or experience with Farming, Ranching, Agriculture, or Livestock is helpful.
  • This position requires you to lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all kinds of Nebraska weather as this position exposes you to both indoor and outdoor climates.
  • Class A CDL license is required for this position. If you lack a commercial license Class A license, Frontier Cooperative will consider assisting the right applicant with obtaining these credentials.
