Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Regular - Non-SCA Washington, DC, US

Salary Range: $180,000.00 To $225,000.00 Annually

Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer provides overarching technical direction for all task areas involving cybersecurity, cloud engineering, agile DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Zero Trust Architecture initiatives. This position applies deep knowledge of cybersecurity architectures, standards, and emerging technologies to develop technical plans and oversee complex engineering execution.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in cybersecurity engineering for projects of similar size and scope

Certifications:

  • Required: Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification, CISSP, and a recognized Scrum practices certification (PSM, CSM, PSPO)
  • Desired: Additional cloud computing platform certifications such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365
