Job description

The Linden is currently seeking a full time Senior Living Sales Manager to drive occupancy by converting inquiries to move-ins through establishing and maintaining positive relationships with prospective residents and their loved ones. Eventide’s senior living apartments provide residents with a safe, supportive and stress-free environment that keeps them socially involved, physically active and intellectually stimulated.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • Management and/or sales experience related to senior housing, long-term care, or healthcare is preferred.
  • Minnesota Assisted Living Director licenses (LALD) preferred, but not required.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees and coordinates the resident move-in process while providing exceptional hospitality and a personalized approach: manages inquiries within a CRM; coordinates tours with prospective residents and their families; establishes move-in procedures. 
  • Determines eligibility for an assisted living residency in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Facilitates completion of all necessary move-in paperwork with residents and families.
  • Helps plan and implement marketing strategies to maintain budgeted occupancy levels.
  • Coordinates apartment unit turnovers and inspections through collaboration with other departments.
  • Maintains positive relations with other departments and campuses to conduct a smooth transfer process within the continuum.
  • Ensures oversight of a clean, welcoming environment that is tour-ready.
  • Supervises and schedules Senior Living Assistant team responsible for building cleanliness and appearance.
  • Builds professional relationships and serves as a representative for Eventide within the community.
  • Works with cross-campus leadership to plan and implement new opportunities for seniors.
  • Attends resident meetings as needed and handles necessary communication between residents and Eventide.
  • Develops and maintains positive resident and employee relations and addresses concerns as they arise.
  • Counsels and disciplines employees as necessary and terminates with the approval of the Executive Director and the Human Resources department.
  • Attends and participates in workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. to keep abreast of current changes in the senior living field.
  • Fills in for support staff in all departments when necessary including housekeeping, culinary, administration, and life enrichment.
  • Establishes and implements policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
  • Identifies any unsafe work practices or work areas within the buildings and promptly establishes corrective measures to ensure the safety of residents, staff and visitors.
