Live Oaks Golf Club, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is an 18-hole, semi-private course designed by John F. Stahl and opened in 1969. The par 71 course sits on 130 acres, and the 200 year old live oak trees provide the setting for the best value for golf in the Jackson Metro area. The club offers a practice area with a chipping green and a putting green, in addition to hitting bays.

Live Oaks is hiring for Event Housekeeping. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all event spaces, bridal suites, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor grounds are clean, organized, and guest-ready.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the venue before, during, and after weddings, receptions, corporate events, and private functions.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and monitor cleanliness throughout events.
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and remove waste promptly.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform general cleaning duties in accordance with venue standards.
  • Respond quickly to spills, accidents, and guest-related cleaning needs during events.
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including resetting spaces between events as needed.
  • Ensure bridal suites, dressing rooms, and guest areas are maintained to a high standard throughout events.
  • Monitor venue grounds, entrances, patios, and outdoor ceremony areas to maintain a polished appearance.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
  • Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Required Skills

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or event venue experience preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
