Job description

Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Reno, NV. You will perform diagnostic CT scans, administer IV contrast under radiologist direction, assist radiologists during procedures, and ensure patient care and quality imaging while supporting department workflow for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum two years clinical CT technologist experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging environment.
  • Experience with trauma imaging required.
  • Travel experience preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. CT-specific ARRT (AART (CT)) preferred.
  • State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography required.
  • Current AHA BLS required within 60 days of hire.
  • Proficiency operating CT scanners and contrast injection equipment.
  • Ability to perform CT procedures across the age spectrum and make technical imaging decisions under radiologist direction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced imaging protocols for stroke, trauma, and vascular emergencies preferred.
Assignment Details
  • Shift pattern: 4x10s with varied shifts, including Wednesday through Saturday scheduling indicated.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
  • No on-call requirement.
  • May be required to float within the organization up to competency level.
  • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
  • Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts with 48 hours notice for low census per contract terms.
