Job Summary:

The Sober Living House Manager oversees multiple sober living homes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with leadership skills and a passion for helping others struggling with a substance use disorder. The Sober Living House Manager is a full-time professional with the responsibility of managing and coordinating the residences.

Key Responsibilities:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Manage the day-to-day operations of the sober living house, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment for residents.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure that the house remains clean, organized, safe and well-maintained, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Conduct safety checks to make sure safety equipment is operational- I.E- smoke detectors, fire extinguishers.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Enforce house rules and policies related to sobriety, behavior, and general conduct, ensuring consistency.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide guidance, support, and supervision to residents in their recovery journey.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Lead house meetings to foster communication, encourage group participation, and address concerns.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain accurate records of residents' progress, incidents, and activities, submitting reports to relevant parties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  High School Diploma, GED, or willingness to obtain GED ยท Must have 2 or more years of sustained sobriety from a substance use disorder

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  A current and valid unrestricted driverโ€™s license with proof of personal vehicular insurance

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Willingness to obtain or demonstrate certifications in Basic First Aid, CPF, Mental Health First Aid, and drug testing procedures

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Requires maintaining a visible presence in the sober living homes, including being present in the residences at various times of the day/night.

  • Able to work 2pm-10pm, including weekends and holidays

Work Environment:
