We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and motivated professional to join our Janitorial Team. You will be responsible for the high level of cleanliness and housekeeping duties for the warehouse and office areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean the warehouse, seafood processing areas, freezers, kitchen, lobby, offices, restrooms, corridors, and stairways.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
  • Dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, windows, door panels and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and trash bins.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
  • Perform all other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety.
  • Report any issues, concerns, or discrepancies to managers immediately.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months janitorial/housekeeping experience.
  • Takes pride in work and respects team members.
  • Dependable and Punctual.
  • Available to work weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • High attention to detail and organized.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in cold/freezing conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive and professional attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Speak English fluently and coherently (Bilingual is a plus)

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in cold/freezing conditions.
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs. onto waist-high shelves.
  • Frequent bending at waist/knees.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands/fingers.
  • Exposure to a multi-temp, food production environment.
  • Required to work in refrigerated and frozen environments, near noisy machinery, and confined spaces as part of daily production activities.

Work Hours and Availability:
This is a full-time position based out of the Monterey Park location. The approximate hours for this position is 7:00am - 3:30pm; some flexibility is required. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits:
The starting pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees, including paid time off, medical, vision, and dental insurance. In addition, employees receive fresh seafood products and company merchandise at cost plus 10%.
