A Transport Driver is responsible for the loading, transporting, and delivery of fuel to clients within a designated region. This position will allow driver to be home at night.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES include: Loading of Fuel – Retrieve dispatch instructions; ensure authorization for loading at all terminals; validate correct supplier when initiating the load sequence; validate correct brand and loading volume selection prior to loading; initiate actual loading; and, retrieve bill of lading and verify accuracy prior to departure.

Transportation of Fuel – Observe all speed limits and DOT rules; refrain from unauthorized cell phone usage, texting and smoking during travel; and, demonstrate patience and personal control during transportation process.

Delivery of Fuel – Verify location by address prior to initiating delivery process; identify presence at the facility; verify tank content volume and calculate delivery gallons; load tank; verify tank volume and validate delivery volume; take immediate action on any problems that occur such as hose rupture, flash fire, or spill; and, deliver bill of lading and all paperwork to designated location by end of day.

Class of Equipment – Tanker and Bobtail This job may also include other duties as assigned to meet business needs.




Note: This company participates in the E-verify program. This positions is subject to a 90 day introductory period. This introductory period is designed, primarily, to give both the Company and the employee an opportunity to determine whether the employee will be able to adequately perform in the assigned job position. At the end of the introductory period, your performance will be reviewed and a decision made regarding your continued employment or any extended introductory period. All employees are hired as temporary employees until their introductory period has elapsed. Temporary employees are not eligible for any benefits during the introductory period.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS include-

High School Diploma or GED; able to pass a criminal background check, DOT drug screen, DOT employment verification, 7 Year MVR and DOT Physical; able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds frequently, and able to lift and or move up to 85 pounds occasionally; must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend and climb frequently and easily. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; CLASS A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsement.
