Position Overview
As Property Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the property, ensuring it is well-maintained, efficiently managed, and aligned with our values. This role requires leadership across all aspects of property management, from leasing and resident relations to staff oversight, maintenance, and financial management. Your focus on people, process, and purpose will drive both resident satisfaction and property performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Property Operations: Lead day-to-day property operations, ensuring high standards in maintenance, leasing, and resident experience where People Come First.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop property staff to maximize efficiency and performance where they will Cultivate and Elevate their team!
  • Leasing Management: Conduct property tours, process applications, and manage leases to maintain high occupancy and strong community engagement
  • Act with Purpose regarding financial oversight by: Managing budgets, track expenses, ensure timely rent collection, and prepare financial reports.
  • Resident Relations: Provide exceptional customer service, address concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive community atmosphere
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee maintenance requests and repair activities to keep the property in excellent condition (Rooted in Sustainability)
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations and stay current on housing laws and industry best practices
  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the property's success

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Class A and Affordable Experience will be required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field required. In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of property management experience required. Industry certifications such as CAM, CAPS, or CALP preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years in property management, leasing, or a related field
  • Skills: Strong leadership, people management, organizational, compliance, and communication skills
  • Software: Proficiency in property management software (Entrata/Yardi preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds and fifty (50) with assistance.
  • Regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, meetings or other situations necessary for the completion of some or all of the daily responsibilities.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend.
