Property Manager
Sage Ventures is a full-service vertically integrated residential development and investment firm. As a collaboratively run corporation, we develop, own, rehabilitate, sell, and manage exceptional properties throughout the greater Baltimore/Washington region.
Position Summary:
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing site employees, daily operations, and increasing the overall value of the asset. This includes timely implementation of policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
  • Employee Management of Assistant Manager, Leasing, and Maintenance Teams
    • Hold staff accountable for all responsibilities
    • Hire and develop team
    • Create schedules
    • Conduct performance evaluations
    • Implement realistic and attainable goals
    • Lead and motivate team to ensure goals are achieved
  • Creation and oversight of budget
  • Timely reporting and communication with Regional Manager
  • Oversight of all third-party inspections
  • Oversight of renovation projects
  • Other duties as necessary in-order-to maintain the property and to meet resident needs.
  • Serve as backup for any roles at the property, as needed

Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of property management experience required
  • Experience with leasing 
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office, YARDI or other property management software
