Department: Property Management

Reports To: Commercial Property Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary: As the Junior Property Manager, you play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our properties assisting in maintaining tenant relations, leasing activities, and property upkeep. This role offers hands-on experience in property management and a pathway to grow within the real estate industry.

Job Responsibilities: including but not limited to

  • Regularly communicates with tenants to address needs and resolve issues.

  • Manages property operations, including budget development, work order tracking, invoice coding and approval, CAM reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Handles occasional commercial leasing, issuing letters of intent and negotiating leases.

  • Ensures tenant retention through excellent customer service, timely rent collection, and enforcement of the collections process.

  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of leases and ensures compliance by both tenants and management personnel.

  • Upholds property rules and regulations, serving as a liaison between maintenance and tenants to address maintenance requests effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree in related field preferred.

  • CAM License or willingness to obtain.

  • At least 2 years experience in property management industry preferred.

  • Must have experience in finance and leasing with the ability to be trained in property management of commercial properties.

  • High proficiency with personal computers and MS Office including Word and Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner suitable for interaction with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and maintain effective working relationships with tenants, co-workers and management team.
