Job description

Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preparing apartment homes for new residents, completing maintenance requests, maintaining community amenities, and ensuring the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate apartment turns by preparing vacant units for move-in, updating make-ready status, communicating with leasing staff, and ensuring all units are completed according to scheduled move-in dates.
* Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair/replacement to maintain the condition and functionality of apartment homes and community facilities.
* Respond to and complete resident service requests by prioritizing work orders, documenting completed work within the property management system, and delivering professional, timely, and courteous customer service.
* Support overall property operations through groundskeeping assistance, heavy lifting of appliances and materials, participation in the rotating on-call schedule, and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive community environment in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, hotel maintenance, HVAC, building maintenance, or a related field preferred.
* Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair.
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm
* Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
* Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred.
* EPA Certification
