Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Assistant Procurement Manager is responsible for assisting in establishing feed ingredient sourcing strategies, overseeing supply chain of feed ingredients, and managing day-to-day activities that keep feed mills producing swine feed. This position plays a crucial role in the execution of contracts, supply chain management, and supporting of feed mill operations.Success factors for an Assistant Procurement Manager at JBS include attention to detail, excellent communication, and adeptness in handling challenging situations while upholding JBS values. This person is people-oriented, desires a deep understanding of supply chain management and keen eye for potential trucking bottlenecks with aa strong emphasis on efficient ingredient delivery.
