Live In Manager information

What is a live in manager?

Live In Managers are individuals who reside on-site at a property, such as an apartment complex, hotel, or assisted living facility, and are responsible for overseeing daily operations, addressing resident or guest needs, and ensuring the property runs smoothly. Their duties often include handling maintenance requests, managing staff, coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and responding to emergencies. Living on the premises allows them to provide immediate assistance and maintain a strong presence within the community. Live In Managers play a key role in maintaining property standards and fostering a safe, comfortable environment for residents or guests.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a live in manager?

A Live In Manager typically needs experience in property management, strong organizational skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with property management software, maintenance scheduling tools, and basic facility systems is often required. Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills help build positive relationships with residents and handle day-to-day challenges. These competencies are vital for maintaining efficient operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, and addressing issues promptly within residential or hospitality environments.

What are some common challenges faced by live in managers and how can they be addressed?

Live In Managers often face the challenge of maintaining a clear boundary between their personal and professional lives, as they reside on the property they manage. They may be called upon outside regular hours to handle emergencies or resident concerns, which can impact work-life balance. To address these challenges, it's important to establish set office hours, communicate expectations with residents, and ensure there is a backup contact for after-hours emergencies when possible. Regular self-care and open communication with property owners or management companies can also help maintain a healthy balance.

Position Overview

Live To Move Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. In this full-time, onsite role, you will provide high-quality rehabilitation services within a supportive and structured outpatient clinic environment. This position allows for significant autonomy while fostering teamwork, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.

About the Organization

Located in the picturesque Bonita Springs, Florida, Live To Move Rehab Center is committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation care. Our facility combines state-of-the-art technology with a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives the tailored support they need on their path to recovery. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative atmosphere where multidisciplinary teams work together to provide holistic care that addresses every aspect of patients' well-being.

Our calm and inviting environment promotes patient comfort and encourages active participation in their own recovery process. We have structured hours from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for shift patterns including 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or the option of four 10-hour shifts, making it easier for you to balance work and life.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a variety of important tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assessing Patients: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities using standardized assessment tools.
  • Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with each patient to design clear, actionable therapy plans aimed at maximizing recovery and improving physical function.
  • Guiding Recovery Sessions: Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education about home exercises tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehab aides, to optimize patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. You will work with a diverse population, ranging from active adults to seniors, ensuring each patient's unique rehabilitation needs are met with personalized care plans that foster both physical recovery and emotional support.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A valid Physical Therapist license in Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's Degree or higher is preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with advanced certifications or specialties in areas such as orthopedic rehabilitation, sports therapy, or pain management are highly valued. This experience will enhance your ability to provide effective treatment options that cater to a wide array of patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Live To Move Rehab Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to USD 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, we provide:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • A 401(k) plan with a 4% employer contribution to help you save for retirement.
  • Three weeks of paid leave each year, plus observed holidays to ensure work-life balance.
  • Life and disability insurance for financial security.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Live To Move Rehab Center, we prioritize your professional development and growth. We encourage continuing education and provide access to workshops, seminars, and advanced training sessions designed to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge. As part of our team, you will also have opportunities to take on leadership roles, specialize in specific therapeutic areas, or participate in community outreach programs.
