Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing 2nd Grade Homeroom Teacher to teach all core subjects in a faith-based Islamic school environment. The ideal candidate will foster academic excellence while integrating Islamic values and character development into daily instruction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies
  • Plan engaging, standards-aligned lessons
  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment
  • Integrate Islamic values and model strong character (akhlaq)
  • Assess student progress and communicate with parents
  • Collaborate with staff and participate in school events


Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Education or related field
  • Teaching certification (preferred)
  • Elementary teaching experience (preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills


Preferred:

  • Experience in an Islamic school setting
  • Ability to support diverse learners, including ELL students
