Job description

Opportunity:

Join us for part-time work ONLINE or move to Japan for a full time position which offers evenings from Tuesday to Friday and Saturday mornings. It's an ideal chance to live in Japan, share your testimony at our church if you have one, and enjoy comfortable accommodations. But, for now, we can start work remotely. Everyone is welcome in this work-from-home opportunity which focuses on Japanese English Language Learners (JELL)

Requirements:

  • International candidates commit to a minimum of one year, with the option to return home after March if needed. Staying until April after the second year is preferred. Providing ample notice is crucial for visa processing and securing a replacement. If this doesn't align with your preferences or seems too inflexible, please refrain from applying.
  • Hires in Japan must be committed for 2 years minimum.
  • International hires who choose to extend their stay in Japan must commit for a minimum of three years.
  • To fully commit to ministry goals, it is essential to embrace a lifestyle that involves refraining from drinking, driving, and dating for the first two years.
  • Education: A four-year degree is not required. We offer valuable work experience and/or language learning.

Benefits:

  • Gain experience and language skills.
  • Enjoy more free time and provided accommodations, ideal if you don't have student loans and don't need to send money back home.

Alternative Opportunity:

Consider joining as a backup missionary, especially if you can secure additional support from family and friends. While we can't afford full-time rates for non-working backup positions, we can offer part-time work compensation accordingly and a place to stay! It's a great way to have more free time in Japan while supporting missions and hopefully matching your goals at the same time.
