Sales Agent (Des Moines Metro)

Join KRM, a high-performing sales organization that happens to build beautiful custom homes. We’re driven by purpose — helping buyers achieve their dreams while creating unlimited potential for our team’s success.

At KRM Development, we don’t just build homes — we build the foundation for families’ futures. As a team, we strive to embody our six core values: Accountable, Hardworking/Driven, Team Player, Positive Can-Do-Attitude, Understands the Value of Reputation and Continuously Strives for Perfection. We’ve built a reputation of crafting high-quality homes and are looking for high-quality team members to join our mission.

Our sales team plays a vital role in that mission by guiding buyers through one of the most important decisions of their lives. We’re looking for a driven, confident, and customer-focused Sales Professional who believes sales is about helping people — not just closing deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete company provided training program.
  • Lead homebuyers through the 5/4/3 Factor sales process — the belief-based process that drives 100% conversion.
  • Uncover each customer’s “why” — their goals, dreams, and motivations — and connect them to the right solution
  • Manage your pipeline using our CRM (HubSpot), from first contact to closing
  • Host model home tours (customer dictated), open houses (Thursday evenings and Sundays), and community events (varies)
  • Follow up incoming leads (website, social, office phone calls) while also being responsible for lead generation and creating monthly marketing plans to assist in hitting your quarterly goals
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals

What You Bring

  • A real estate license is not required or permitted. In-House Sales Agents are full- time employees of KRM Development, LLC, not independent contractors or licensed real estate agents.
  • Customer-first mindset. You’re driven by helping families find the right home and will go above and beyond to make it happen.
  • Commission-focused and availability-driven. This full-time sales position is centered around meeting customer needs — whenever they arise. While core hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., success in this role requires flexibility beyond standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays. Sales Agents are expected to remain accessible by phone, email, and conduct after hour meetings to ensure exceptional client service, with required participation in open houses every Thursday and Sunday.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined. You take initiative, manage your time effectively, and stay organized without constant supervision.
  • Confident communicator. You can listen deeply, present clearly, and guide people through major decisions with empathy and conviction.
  • Competitive spirit. You thrive on achieving goals and don’t shy away from challenges.
  • Previous sales experience preferred, but a strong desire to learn and grow is essential.

  • Great Company Culture. We hire by core values, which allows us to live them every day.
  • Our People. We hire the best people, and we think you’ll like them too.
  • Environment. We have a fast-paced culture and strive for continuous improvement. We operate through Traction, which allows us to constantly better ourselves.
