Position Purpose:

Recovery Technicians play a vital role in supporting clients residing in a Rosecrance transitional living facility as they work toward maintaining a sober, healthy lifestyle. In this role, you will provide direct supervision, ensure a safe and structured environment, and build meaningful, supportive relationships with clients.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, Recovery Technicians contribute to the delivery of addiction treatment services for clients and their families. You will help clients develop and apply recovery skills in their daily lives, reinforcing positive behaviors and promoting long-term success in recovery.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver’s license

Qualifications:

  • Skilled in behavioral management techniques
  • Assist clients with daily living skills and providing hands on skills teaching. Assist clients with accessing services and integrating in to the community.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the behavior of the residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
  • Develop and present all resident education.
  • Supervise all daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, shopping, cooking meals, free time, etc.
  • Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
  • Facilitate focal group discussion sessions as needed.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
  • Ensure that patient service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations.
  • If designated, monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical log.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
  • Serve as a member of the Rosecrance Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.

Job Type: Part-time, 24 hours. 

Schedule: 

  • Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM 

Work Mode: On-site

Work Location: Sioux City, Iowa

Pay: $18.00 per hour for overnights. $0.50 shift differential.
