Assisting Hands Home Care Northern Summit
is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors throughout Northern Summit County

What You'll Do
As an in-home caregiver, you'll provide compassionate support to seniors in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
  • Safely assisting clients with movement according to their care needs and care plan
  • Preparing light meals and snacks
  • Performing light housekeeping related to the client's care
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with activities of daily living
  • Monitoring client safety
  • Encouraging independence
  • Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Communicating important client needs or changes to the care team

What We're Looking For
  • Professional caregiving experience required
  • Experience providing hands-on personal care
  • STNAs and CNAs are encouraged to apply
  • Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to safely lift and/or assist with moving up to 50 pounds as required to perform essential client-care duties, including mobility assistance, transfers, and repositioning
  • If a shift includes transporting clients, employees must meet applicable company and insurance requirements for client transportation
