Position Summary WORKS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR AND IS RESPONSIBLE TO COMPLETE ANY GENERAL WORK TASKS GIVEN. Essential Functions Weigh totes of product to the correct weight. Close and cover full totes. Clean up spills and maintain a clean work area. Keep product in totes from over-filling. Assist with removing full totes from the line. Able to start work 30 minutes before shift starts. Relieve other departments as required. Adhere to the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Prepare the working area at the start and end of each shift. Available to work rotating shifts (swing, graveyard), to include weekends and required overtime. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Competencies and Certifications Required Knowledge of different weights of products. Knowledge of different sizes and styles of fruit. Good communication skills. Trained on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Trained and knowledgeable in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Must pass respiratory fitness test. May be cross-trained in other job duties. Physical Demands of Job Frequent standing and walking. Frequent climbing, bending, stooping and twisting. Frequent pushing and pulling - up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifting or pulling - up to 50 lbs. Ability to work under pressure, handle stress, and/or multi-task.
