What We Seek...
We’re looking for a hands-on person to lead the day-to-day operations of our additive manufacturing division. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being in the shop, running and maintaining 3D printers, and keeping projects moving smoothly. You’ll take ownership of setup, calibration, scheduling, material handling, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented maker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and reliability across all projects.

Job Summary and Job Functions
- Oversee daily operations of the additive manufacturing division
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain 3D printers to ensure optimal performance
- Manage print schedules, prioritize orders, and coordinate workflow to meet deadlines
- Communicate job status with the fabrication team and deliver parts to assembly in an organized manner
- Handle materials, including preparation, storage, and proper usage
- Ensure quality control of printed parts, maintaining consistency and accuracy
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Maintain an organized and safe fabrication workspace
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members working within the division
- Collaborate cross-functionally when opportunities arise in design and engineering

Requirements:
- 3D printing experience required
- Design/engineering experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize computers and learn new software programs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Extreme attention to the details
- Sense of urgency to accurately and timely achieve results
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work before/after typical production hours as work may demand
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
