A leading, family-owned manufacturer of precision metal components based in Livonia, Michigan is seeking a driven, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer. The ideal candidate is a precision-oriented, self-starting leader motivated by continuous improvement, process optimization, and creative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering & Automation: Design, troubleshoot, develop, and automate manufacturing processes to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • CAD & Tooling Design: Create part models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks; oversee tooling design and manufacturing.
  • Product Launch & Improvement: Manage product launches and drive continuous manufacturing process improvements.
  • Quoting & Vendor Management: Read customer blueprints and specifications, provide accurate part quotations, and request vendor quotes for materials and outside processes.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with 3D modeling/CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), ability to read/interpret engineering blueprints, and strong design skills.
