Job Description Mold Setter - 3rd Shift (Direct Hire) Locations: Sterling Heights and Shelby Township, MI Shift: 3rd Shift - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday - Friday) Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour (Based on experience and interview) Overtime: Must be open to overtime and weekend work Now Hiring - Direct Hire Opportunity with Competitive Pay and Benefits Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Mold Setter to join our team. This position is responsible for performing mold and die changes on 500 - 3300 ton presses, ensuring efficient setup and operation to meet production schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience with mold setup, hot runner systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting leaks to maintain high-quality production standards

Key Responsibilities Perform mold and die changes according to the production schedule and emergency change requirements Properly set up molds, water lines, knockout systems, hot runners, hydraulics, and pneumatics Set molding press parameters based on process verification sheets, when applicable Identify and repair fluid or air leaks related to the mold setup Pull and reset mold halves for repairs and maintenance Load and unload mold-carrying trucks Install and remove auxiliary equipment from the molding floor Maintain an organized and clean mold staging area Ensure proper storage and maintenance of mold-setting supplies Accurately complete and submit all required documentation and paperwork Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations Participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) projects to improve efficiency Maintain high housekeeping standards in the work area What You'll Need to Succeed Experience performing mold/die changes in a manufacturing setting Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and hot runner systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair fluid and air leaks Experience with 500 - 3300 ton presses preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to safety and quality standards Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed Why Join Us.
