No matter what brings you here, you'll jump into a part-time job surrounded by awesome American-made products and super cool customers. Plus, you'll join a team of friendly co-workers who bring a mix of backgrounds and experiences, making this part-time job something really special and rewarding. 

As a part-time, Weekend Outlet Associate / Product Handler, you play an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers as you support the behind-the-scenes work of our showroom. You are comfortable using your hands and prefer working on your feet in a fast-paced, retail environment, but you also appreciate engaging with customers to complete their shopping experience with "wow" customer-service moments. You'll join a team of positive people who love what they do as they represent the Room & Board brand and enjoy a sense of camaraderie in working together.

Schedule: Saturdays from 9:30AM to 4:30PM & Sundays from 10:30AM to 4:30PM (average of 5 weekend shifts per month) 

Location: 4600 Olson Memorial, Golden Valley, MN (Hwy 100 & 55)

As a part-time weekend Outlet Associate in our outlet, you'll be responsible for:

  • Using tools to move all furniture on and off the showroom floor
  • Wrapping upholstery for delivery
  • Loading furniture into customer's vehicles
  • Engaging with customers with strong communication skills
  • Working productively and effectively in a high energy environment
  • Problem-solving in a variety of situations

The qualities you'll bring to be successful as a part-time weekend Outlet Associate :

  • High level of professionalism and a passion to represent our brand
  • Desire to focus on serving the customer with agility, confidence, and enthusiasm
  • Strong attention to detail

You'll also bring the following skills and requirements as a part-time weekend Outlet Associate :

  • Ability to consistently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories, while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
  • Placing and re-arranging product onto the showroom floor
  • Ability to think quickly in order to efficiently process sales
  • Comfortable leveraging technology to support our customers
  • Previous retail sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire
