Farm Manager

Location: Walnut Grove, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $100,000 – $150,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large-scale agricultural operation. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on farming experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage employees, equipment, crop production, and farm resources.

This position requires a bilingual professional who can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish while ensuring efficient farm operations, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily farm operations, including planting, cultivation, irrigation, harvesting, and maintenance
  • Supervise, train, and lead farm employees
  • Coordinate work schedules and assign daily tasks
  • Monitor crop health and implement best agricultural practices
  • Manage irrigation systems, equipment, and machinery maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and agricultural standards
  • Maintain production records, inventory, and operational reports
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
  • Monitor budgets and control operating expenses
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to maximize productivity

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of Farm Management experience
