HIRING DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Job Overview
At Home Comfort Health Care, we are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will be responsible for providing hands-on care and assistance to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals, increase their independence, and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with individuals in a community, home, or residential setting, ensuring they feel valued, safe, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility.

  • Encourage Independence: Support individuals in developing independent living skills such as meal preparation, household chores, and money management.

  • Goal Implementation: Help individuals achieve their personal goals as outlined in their Individual Service Plan (ISP) by providing guidance, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.
